About the artist:
Maui artist Carla Gangini has been inspired by the island's beauty for nearly 30 years, she fell in love with oil painting about 6 years ago. Her goal is to capture and interpret the essence of Maui's landscapes, flowers, fruits and even its livestock for the viewer to enjoy everyday in their home. The color pallet is an essential part of how she conveys the island's unique feeling. Carla paints on location around the island and also at her home studio in Wailuku.
